I think that most people would agree that the best part of Christmas—besides spending time with our loved ones—is the exchange of gifts. Personally, I love looking at someone I’ve given a gift to and seeing their face light up with happiness, it’s the best feeling.
Today, I am sharing another holiday gift guide; but this time it’s themed, and the theme is…
*insert drumroll*
Mt. Fuji!
Japan is well known for having objects shaped in the form of various Japanese things, and Mt. Fuji is loved and revered by locals, craftsman and foodies- so I’ve compiled a list of Mt.Fuji-themed gifts below — there are even a few items that I’m sure you’ll even want to keep for yourself!

MT. FUJI ERASER
This is the perfect gift for stationery lovers. The Mt. Fuji Eraser was created with a new idea that makes the act of “erasing” fun! If you use the eraser in a well-balanced manner—going in both the left-right and front-back directions—the main body will resemble a mountain shape and Mt. Fuji will appear! There are also different versions that show Mt. Fuji during the Autumn and Sakura seasons.

MT. FUJI KIT KAT
Who doesn’t love Kit Kat? While I will avoid the debate about the correct way to eat a Kit Kat, it cannot be disputed that this white chocolate-covered version looks especially delicious! Not only is it Strawberry Cheesecake-flavoured, but the gift box it comes with is shaped like Mt. Fuji. It is definitely something I would want to receive as a gift!

MT. FUJI MINIATURE CHOCOLATES
Another food-related gift that would certainly be appreciated if received is the Mt Fuji Miniature Chocolates box. Available in matcha (green tea) or regular milk chocolate flavors, these chocolates are sure to delight anyone with a sweet tooth and a love for Japan. The box you receive contains 16 chocolates as well as a postcard from as well as a postcard of Japan’s most iconic mountain from Hokusai’s famous series of woodblock prints. Double gift!

JAPAN SANRIO CINNAMON ROLL MT. FUJI SHAPED POUCH
For your dose of “kawaii”, Sanrio has released a 2021 Sakura Collection of Mt. Fuji-shaped items featuring many of their beloved characters. This Cinnamon Roll pouch is just one example of the products they released but will certainly melt any fashionista’s heart. If you’re in search of a smaller gift, they also have Mt. Fuji-shaped keychains!

MT. FUJI PLANTER
Perfect for anyone who has a green thumb, this Mt. Fuji planter will add a bit of cuteness to your display of plant babies. You can even buy a version that has a little Sakura flower on the hem which, in my opinion, looks absolutely adorable! The planters are hand-painted with unique blue hue colors and given a glossy clear glaze; they even have a hole on the bottom to allow excess water to drain.

FUJI GOTEMBA WHISKEY
Fuji Gotemba distillery is located in the town of Gotemba, which lies at the foot of Japan’s iconic Mount Fuji. It currently holds the record as the world’s largest whisky distillery, beating out Scotland’s Glenfiddich distillery. Whisky from Fuji Gotemba is sold under two names: Fuji Gotemba and Fuji Sanroku (which means “at the feet of Fuji” in Japanese). A 10 year old and an 18 year old bottles are currently sold as single malts, as well as a popular blended whisky called Evermore. Japanese whisky is considered a world class beverage—being collected globally—so this will certainly make for a truly appreciated gift.

TAJIMA MT.FUJI GLASS
As you shouldn’t drink Whiskey straight from the bottle, this absolutely gorgeous, handmade glass offers an upscale, unique gift to give. The hand-blown glass, finished by Tajima skilled craftsmen, makes drinking more fun as Mt. Fuji will change colour based on which drinks you pour in the glass. This product even comes with the official certificate and original hologram stickers issued by Tajima Glass.

MT.FUJI EGG CUP
I’ve never used an egg cup before, but I want to use this Mt. Fuji-shaped product so much, it’s convincing me to change my ways! A simple but rather neat design by Hachiman Kasei allows this versatile Mt. Fuji item to be used in other ways as well. It also comes in eight different colours—pink, red, sky blue, navy blue, light blue, black, white, and beige.
