Though we know many/most of us cannot travel now, due to Covid-19, we would love to continue to share our blog series in the spirit of looking forward, and to help you plan your future adventures in Japan!
Arigato Japan Tour-Guide Jordan and wife Satomi had the chance to stay at Minshuku Kuyama (a traditional Japanese Home-Stay) and learn how to make Miso with an expert! VIDEO BELOW!
Miso is a staple Japanese ingredient made from a fermented mixture of White Soy Bean and Koji yeast. Many Minshuku home-stays offer traditional crafts and cooking workshops, and are a fantastic alternative to a hotel while travelling Japan! Minshuku Kuyama is a perfect place to stay on your way from Tokyo to the wonderful hot-spring and Fuji-viewing town of Hakone!
Check out their video of this Miso Making adventure. You can check out the details of the farmstay location below. Great website in English as well as Japanese and add this to your Bucket List for Japan, when we are all traveling again. #stayhome and #plan your next adventure!
