Welcoming its 31st year anniversary, from October 3rd to 6th you will be able to find 100 food stalls and over 400 different dishes from the northmost part of Japan, famous for its seafood, dairy, meat and potatoes, here you can get from traditional Hokkaido dishes to local craft beer.
This event also offers “390 yen gourmet” dishes on 35 stalls will serve only 50 meals per day on this price, so make sure to arrive early with an empty stomach and dive into the deliciousness of the most northern part of Japan. This is a good chance to get to know what you will be missing on from Hokkaido if you don’t have the chance to visit this time, and this, for sure, will make you give a second thought about coming back to experience not only the food, but the amazing views and culture you will find in Hokkaido.
Around Yoyogi Park you can also find the amazing Harajuku, home of the “kawai” and “lolita” culture, a colorful area that offers all kinds of candies, crepes, second hand shops, and all the cuteness you can imagine. Who doesn’t like a good cup of fresh coffee in the morning?, or how many deep talks have anyone shared with a friend in a moment of pain or happiness joined by a cup of coffee? Everyone that has ever needed a little push for a long and complicated day knows that coffee can be the best solution to keep it up. And now you can find in the period of a few days all the culture around this together at the Tokyo Coffee Festival.
This event that started in 2015 is now one of the biggest coffee festivals in Japan. This time you will find around 60 stalls promoting local coffee, snacks and products related with coffee culture, also there will be 20 shops from around the world that are specialized in international coffee.
On the stalls you will be able to get event only original mugs made of ceramic to sample coffee original from Japan which is being prepared by local baristas, but moreover, this chance is not only about drinking coffee but also about learning about the coffee culture in Japan and around the world.

Oh! ramen… that noodle pool of deliciousness that gathers one of the most exquisite experiences for the palate. From the smoothness of soy ramen with dashi base to the flavour explosion of tonkotsu base ramen, this versatile dish came originally from China after the Sino-Japanese war (25 July 1894 – 17 April 1895) when the soldiers came back home brought with them the recipe for making noodles and then cooks went crazy creating hundreds of different flavors depending on the area of Japan, season, new flavors from abroad, etc.
You can find the ramen that fits your taste from the hundreds of different options you can get. If you are a ramen enthusiast, from October 24th to November 4th, you will have the chance to sample plates from all over Japan, so check out the official website since there will be 36 selected ramen options divided in two parts, first from October 24th to 29th and from October 30th to November 4th, 12:00-21:00 hrs.
There is no cover for entering the event but you have to purchase your food ticket in advance and cost are from ¥800 to ¥880 depending on the shop. With more than 300 hundred shops participating and 11 years of being the most delicious event in Tokyo, you cannot miss this chance and get lost in ramen land.
