Great to meet the Arigato Japan valued guests! My name is Kate Coughlan, Director of International Sales at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel.

 

Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel is a welcoming retreat 15 minutes from central Tokyo and overlooking the ocean views of Tokyo Bay. A fantastic location that offers 1,016 accommodation rooms and boasts 23 event spaces ideal for all types of events up to 10 – 2,000 guests.

 

Holding the proud distinction of being a Tokyo Disney Resort® Official Hotel, the hotel offers unbeatable access via monorail to both Tokyo Disneyland® and Tokyo DisneySea®. Offering great activities on our doorstep including world exclusive Disney Land, Disney Sea, Ikspiari® that offers international restaurants, shopping, cultural entertainment & more!

 

The Hotel is located very close to Tokyo Disney but also 30 min to Haneda Airport and 15 min to Tokyo Station. This is very convenient! What type of guests are coming to your hotel?

Can you please tell us more about the rooms themselves and the services you provide? 

 

Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel has 1,016 rooms within our Main Building and Park Wing Annex offering 11 room types starting from 36sqm in size. Each room type has been designed with a special theme including the Park Wing Dog-Friendly Rooms ideal for our valued Guest & Dog to enjoy.

 

We offer 3 suite room types including Sheraton Club Suite, Japanese Suite and Executive Suite. The Japanese Suite is a twist on the Ryokan experience offering a private traditional Japanese Bath/Spa experience exclusively for Japanese Suite Guests only.

 

Any specific accommodations/services for kids/families?

 

For families, we offer triple & quadruple room configuration and also our Family Premium Room Type which can sleep up to 6.

 

For something fun for the family, try our Treasure Rooms on the 8th Floor which offer Penton & Friends themed rooms including Penton Pack amenities for the little ones on arrival! Penton is our hotel mascot and if you are lucky you can catch him on L2 Lobby for greetings along with interactive game station area.

 

Additionally, we offer a wide range of resort facilities and activities ideal for Families & Children. These range from our Treasure Island Games Entertainment level and Costume Photo Studio located in OASIS. The hotel offers an indoor heated lap-pool with children’s pool along with an outdoor pool available in Summer.

 

With 1,000sqm of gardens, guests can enjoy the beautiful outdoors with Penton Mini Golf or Family BBQ Dining or simply taking in the Ocean Breeze form Tokyo Bay whilst the kids play.

Guests would be remiss without trying our famous selection of desserts in Toastina. Pastry Chef Matsumoto & Team design new dessert experiences every month for the weekly Dessert Station Service, along with the signature ‘Sweets Box’ that is inspired by local produce & seasonal themes.

 

Recently one of our talented pastry team Otokozawa Kana won the 1st prize in the 14th Assiette De Dessert Contest at Fabex 2021, organized by All Japan Confectionery Association. All four judges were in unanimous vote that the dish “Pina colada et la Verveine” is the best!

 

Are you offering special menus or events for special occasions? (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas etc.)

 

Absolutely! Our Grand Café and Toastina introduce monthly culinary experiences which are designed with seasonal or international cuisine themes such as Cherry Blossom Season, Spring Treats, Autumnal Delicacies, Halloween and Christmas.

 

Each season we like to celebrate key events through special culinary experience and activities. For Halloween guests can enjoy spooky, delicious desserts or partake in fun activities such as Pumpkin Carving competition.

 

Something that is truly impressive is our Christmas at Sheraton Grande Tokyo Bay Hotel. The lobby comes alive with the Dickensian- style Christmas decorations, Christmas music and photo booth, and special ‘Christmas’ Room Packages where Santa can visit your room with presents!

 

I would be remiss without mentioning the sumptuous Christmas Cakes whether you are looking for a simple Strawberry Shortcake or Santa’s Verry Berry Cheesecake.
